Maureen is a classic example of someone who related hunger and deprivation with health and fitness.
When Maureen and I spoke about the “I Can Do It” program and I informed her that it would be mandatory for her to eat 5-6 times daily she laughed in my face. She was convinced that eating that much food, and drinking all those protein shakes would make her blow up like a balloon. I had to really persuade her to even give it a try for one week. I made her promise me she wouldn’t step on the scale at all the first week.
When we met again after the first week she informed me that she was sleeping better, had more energy and she wasn’t craving sweets the way she had. Maureen was also convinced that she had gained weight. When she stepped on the scale a look of utter dismay crossed her face. Maureen had lost 9 lbs. in only 7 days on the “I Can Do It” program.
After personally witnessing the results Maureen was sold on the entire program and proceeded to follow the program with an incredible level of zest and motivation.
